Prevent Repossession ▪ Attorneys in Orlando and Tampa

If you are behind on payments for your car, boat or other assets, Bankruptcy Law Group, P.A. can help you file for bankruptcy. Once your car, boat or other asset is repossessed, it will be too late to get it back. Worse yet, you will still be held responsible for what you owe on the repossessed item.

Filing for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy stops car repossession.

To learn how we can help you in a free initial consultation, call Bankruptcy Law Group, P.A. at (800) 492-4352, Orlando Office (407) 347-6656 or Tampa Office (813) 489-5109 or e-mail our office.

Affordable Retainer and Interest-Free Payment Plan

We offer a free initial consultation to discuss and answer your questions about bankruptcy. Once you file for bankruptcy protection, all your creditors must stop harassing you from that moment on.

If your property is repossessed and sold, you are still responsible for what you owe on it even after filing for bankruptcy. This is one of the few types of debt that cannot be discharged. A Chapter 7 bankruptcy can discharge the balance owed, however.

If you are earning an income that qualifies you for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy, the good news is that you will have from three to five years to catch up on your payments, depending on the kind of payment plan that is arranged.

Our office handles debt negotiation. We will review your situation during your initial consultation, where you will meet with one of our bankruptcy lawyers. We will discuss your options and whether we think we can help you renegotiate your debt or get a reduced interest rate.

If you do miss a payment after you have filed bankruptcy, your assets can be subject to repossession. Keep proof of all payments that you have made for at least six months after filing for bankruptcy.
